The first, and most important, thing to understand about conflict is that it is a natural and inevitable part of living. As a result of being involved in conflicts of varying degrees almost everyday, people have developed their own responses to conflict. Some people vary their responses to a conflict situation depending on the type of conflict or on the type of relationship they have to the person involved in the conflict. Other people choose to use one approach for all conflicts regardless of varying factors or relationships.

Every day is a new day in our life. There is much to do today. The early morning sun inspires us to start things freshly and put back our past. Only a handful of us make use of this fresh bunch of energy. In various walks of life this affects the way we behave and our confidence level. Confidence is a key to survive in this world. It is the only key tool to win the rat race in every walk of life. Confidences in ones own capability combined with sincere efforts helps one to achieve unthinkable heights. But many times we see that this basic element of confidence is missing in us. As a result of lack of confidence we perform well below our caliber. Be it in a public speech, proposing your beloved, speeches in your college or in an interview or say even on the eve before your exams. This can be due to fear of being rejected or any other reason.

Learning to communicate effectively is a life-long process. Often it is a combination of trial and error and learning the hard way. This process contributes-sometimes positively and at other times negatively--to perceptions of others and us. Patterns and habits of communication develop from childhood and are carried well into adulthood and old age. These habits are so subconscious that much of the time we have no realistic idea of how we are perceived by others.
